It is time for Granite State Comicon 2016. Downtown Manchester will be filled with living anime, superheroes, villains, stormtroopers, and pirates as the annual event comes to the Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm Street on September 17 and 18.
The convention will include costume contests, vendors of comic books, accessories and collectibles, and special guests. This year’s guest line up includes Adrian Paul of The Highlander, Samantha Newark from Jem and the Holograms. There will also be an artists alley with a multitude of industry artists and writers. There will also be game tournaments, panel discussions and contests through out the day.
Hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Check here for a complete schedule of events, panel discussions, a special Kid Zone and contests. Single day admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Weekend passes are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets are available online. Granite State Comicon organized by Double Midnight Comics. It is family-friendly and children under 10 get in free.
