goodgood manchester is a place to learn more about the exciting things happening right now in Manchester, share new ideas, meet new collaborators, engage, debate, celebrate and problem solve right here in the Queen City.
goodgood manchester is a platform that not only showcases the many interesting people, events and creative endeavors in Manchester, but is also a place where people can connect with the important work being done by local nonprofits, pitch ideas for improving our city, share information and collaboratively create resources for all Mancunians.
goodgood manchester was started in 2010 by Kathleen Schmidt and Will Stewart, two transplanted Mancunians who love Manchester and see its potential. Kathleen, a Maryland native, has lived in Manchester for eight years and remains inspired by the incredible opportunities to learn, grow and make a positive contribution in the community. Will, who moved to Manchester from Tennessee in 2006, was quickly taken with Manchester’s sense of place. In 2008 he started the blog Fortress Manchester and sees goodgood manchester as a continued homage to his adopted city.
So we’ve vacuumed the carpet and bought the chips and dip, but need you to join the enterprise! Share something cool. Say something constructive. Give something back.
