MISSION
- The Acting Loft is a not-for-profit performing arts organization committed to theatrical education and quality productions for students, performers, and audiences of all ages from the Southern New Hampshire region.
VISION
- To make available the highest quality theatre arts education to students of all age, ability, and economic status.
- To provide opportunities for performers to practice their craft through the use of challenging material in a variety of public venues.
- To provide reasonably priced entertainment to theatre-lovers in New Hampshire.
- To help build Manchester—and New Hampshire—as a cultural destination.
PHILOSOPHY
- We believe that the study and practice of theatre arts can provide practical and meaningful life lessons to students regardless of their stage in life.
- We believe that the development of self-confidence, individual expression, and cultural education increases with exposure to, and participation in musical and dramatic theatre.
- We believe that these lessons can be learned through instruction in a classroom, on the stage as a performer, and in the seats of a theatre as an audience member.
