Meet Ian Umphrey!

How long have you lived in Manchester?

I’ve lived in Manchester since August of 2013 when I moved here to work for City Year New Hampshire.

Describe Manchester in one word.

Potential.

What would make Manchester even better?

We need to work on social justice issues together by promoting collaboration between organizations, neighborhoods, and cultures to build a stronger community where no one is left behind.

What’s the best meal you’ve had in Manchester?

A meal cooked with fresh produce sold by the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success at the Farmers Market.

What’s your favorite Manchester organization?

City Year New Hampshire, but Families in Transition is a close second. I’m lucky to be involved with both and they are doing great work in the community.

If you could share one link with the rest of Manchester, what would it be?
