An affiliate of the national SCORE association, SCORE Southern New Hampshire was founded in 1967. SCORE assists small business with free business counseling, small business training and a library of resource information, much of which is online.
Volunteer members, whose broad business experience range from marketing and sales, engineering, manufacturing, contract management, finance, general management, service and more, use their individual skills to help clients evaluate and develop plans for new businesses, solve business problems and direct them to additional resources, including financing.
The Manchester chapter now has more than 50 counselors and takes on an average of 14 new cases a week. SCORE meets with clients at their businesses, our offices, or in public locations such as libraries to accommodate their schedules.
SCORE helps clients avoid common mistakes, provide direction and help them become as successful as they want to be. All of the volunteers and resources of our chapter are available to every client and they are available for as long as they want or need them.
How you can help:
- Volunteer to share your ideas and expertise with a congenial group of highly skilled business professionals; keep your skills and knowledge current with the fast-changing business environment; and give back something to the Southern New Hampshire business community.
