The New Hampshire Institute of Art’s 2014-2015 Visiting Writers Series kicks off with “Yes, No, Goodbye” at 7pm, Wednesday, Sept. 24, at in the French Building Auditorium, 148 Concord St.

The event is free and open to the public.

An event to get you in touch with that uncharted area of your brain. Come enjoy films with live soundtracks, gross poetry, and strange banter. Performers include:

R.M. O’Brien, Author of Ant Killer & Other Poems (WORMS Press) and We (Cars Are Real). Member of the band Nuclear Power Pants and founding member of art collective Wham City

Eric Paul, Author of I Offered Myself As the Sea (Heartworm Press), Love in the Monkey Cage (Heartworm Press) and My Parents Were Insects (Anchor Brain). Vocalist/ Lyricist for Arab On Radar, The Chinese Stars, and Doomsday Student

Planchette presents: “Fecund Blessings”, a silent film featuring a live performance of the musical score by the Boston-based band, Ladybird/Johnson.
